Perform quality assurance duties which include but are not limited to:
Final inspection of the product before it goes out for delivery.
Rejects defective cabinets or presents questionable conditions to Production Management.
Keep a record of problems they find and may inform Production Management of defect.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Cabinet Hardware Technician:
Demonstrate proficiency in Production procedures, which include but are not limited to:
Inspect/reject finished items before installing hardware onto cabinets.
Installing drawer slides.
Applying drawer fronts to drawer boxes.
Installing and hanging cabinet doors.
Installing lighting into cabinetry.
Installing various metal pullout units in cabinets.
Additional duties include:
Clean respective work area daily.
Contribute to the manufacturing operation with a team-oriented spirit.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidate must be:
Extremely organized.
Computer literate.
Education and
Experience:
Minimum of a high school education and one year of factory related experience.
Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math.
Physical Demands:
Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Regularly required to stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
4-Day Work Week:
