Job Description:
Location: Atglen, PA Salary: Open Description: Our client is currently seeking a Manual Machinist Job Description:
Performs MANUAL MACHINIST duties at facility in processing environment Key Responsibilities: Set-up, adjust and operate conventional and/or special purpose machine tools to perform diversified standard and difficult operations on work having close and exacting tolerances.
Plan and determine set-up procedures and operating sequences, grind basic tools, select tooling, attachments, feeds and speeds.
Determine if work part is properly secure for machining.
Position, align and secure work part in bed of the machine.
Use a wide range of precision measuring instruments and devices to set-up, operate and check work.
Key Requirements: Proceed with minimum supervision.
Must have previous experience with manual lathe and vertical mill.
Must be able to read and understand blueprints + computer generated drawings.
Full knowledge of dimensioning.
Ability to evaluate machine related issues, fabricate, repair and modify metallic and nonmetallic machine and tooling components.
Familiar with the operation of grinders, lathes, mills, internal hones, and various types of machine shop support equipment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
